Facilities

Accommodation is situated on either ground floor or first floor which are linked by shaft lifts in different areas of the building. Two stair lifts are also provided.


All bedrooms are single rooms most with en suite toilet facilities and are furnished to a high standard including call bells, wash basins, central heating and a television point. Some single rooms have interconnecting doors for couples.




Residents are welcome to bring their own items of furniture should they wish.


There are toilets and bathroom facilities on both floors, with the added advantage of assisted baths being provided for residents who require more assistance with bathing. An assisted shower is also available.

Residents can relax in the three very comfortable lounges, or in the various seating areas situated throughout the home. One lounge/dinning room is reserved for people with dementia.

• A residents' telephone is provided for incoming and outgoing calls.
• A full library service is provided.
• The services of a mobile hairdresser are available weekly in our own hairdressing salon.
• Newspapers and magazines are provided.
• An inclusive personal laundry service is provided.
• The services of a Dentist, Optician, Chiropodist and District Nurse are available if required.
• A local G.P. supervises the medical care of our residents with regular visits, although if you prefer you may retain the services of your own G.P.
